FAC calibre ?

Peeps

I'm just doing my FAC renewal and want to add a German Mauser to go with my 303

Can someone confirm what i should be putting in for please. I assume 7.92 ??

7.92x57 however I do wonder what would happen if you put 7.92/8x57

Alan,

I have 7.92 on mine. That seems to cover it and had no problem getting my K98.

I only say 8x57 as some Mausers are stamped up as this and I am not sure if an FEO would accept they are the same thing, a bit like .308/7,62x51

I think I'll put down 7.92/8 x57 and see what they say fingerscrossed

thanks but I'll wait until i've got the FAC back and I'm in no rush, I'd like to get a "nice" one so I wont be rushing out to buy just yet.

Just ask for an 8mm, thats what I have, then you have some options if you change your mind. :grin:
