I just googled it as I assume you have, and blanked. All I can suggest is have a look in the battery compartment and see if it has any information, the NATO battery spec is sure to apply to something readily off the shelf.
Re: Military Spec Batteries
I'll probably need those batteries on mine if Dromia is gonna start making those huge bangs again up north.

I've taken the dimensions as best I can from the battery compartments and they translate into nothing that is even vaugely off the shelf.

Tried RS Components? They do some obscure sizes, also the military tend to stack batteries so look for same diameter but half the height. Do you know what the voltage is?

Here's a coupe of pictures:
The battery compartment approx 0.55" between the contacts.

The only other matkings are on the on/off switch unit here:

Re: Military Spec Batteries
I think you can safely ignore the voltage on the switch! In the absence of any information on voltage I would suggest grabbing half a dozen AA batteries tape a couple of bits of wire across the terminals and see if the cans work, add a second/third battery until you have identified the lowest voltage it will work at, then look for some button cells that you can stack to get the same voltage, tape them together and off you go. You may need to add a washer at one end but I would not be surprised if multiple cells worked in a stack without further modifications.
Have a look for Lithium Ion batteries as they work at higher voltages so a single cell may work.
