Makarovs for $200-300 and Mosin-Nagants for $100. I'd be permanantly skint but very happy!

I remember in the Gulf makarovs would occassionally turn up and were by far in better condition than most other guns 'liberated.' Coming back in a C130 the loadie stood on a pile of kit, shouted for quiet and then warned us all that we and our bergans would be searched immediately after we landed. He then declared a 5mins amnesty whilst he took a walk.

The pile of booty at the rear of the ramp was not insignificant and the buggers never did search us!
