Signing up to this forum and spam issues.

We are getting hammered at the rate of well over 100 spammers attempting to create new user accounts every single day. We have black listed tens of millions of IP's from countries including China, Pakistan, Ukraine, Russia and South Africa and still they keep coming. A lot of the less common free mail account hosts have also been blocked but to no real effect so if you are reading this and cannot sign up send an email to admin@ this forums domain name.

Starting today we have added a Q&A system so prospective new members will have to answer a question before they can register, the account will then have to be activated by Christel, hopefully this will do the trick and since we implemented we have not see a single spammer/bot get past the question

Legitimate users should not have an issue answering the question so it is nothing to worry about but again, if you have problems signing up admin@ this forums domain name and Christel will let you in.

Woohoo, looks like it worked for a legitimate users as well, I was starting to get worried
