OK people,following on from my post on the level 2 Advanced Tactical Handgun course I was on in October and the comments received, here’s the perfect Xmas present to yourselves..
Had a few words with Chuck Taylor and he would be happy to do a course for full-bore members and friends.
FULL-BORE.co.uk PISTOL & SHOTGUN 3 DAY COURSE
Pistol 2 days and Shotgun 1 day
Venue: Ben Avery Shooting Complex Arizona.
When: Probably July or August 2012 * see notes
Open to: Anyone from full-bore or friends they can trust.
Previous experience needed: NONE
Firearms: Glock 17 Pistol and Remmy M870 Shotgun
What’s included in the price: Virtual one on one tuition, certification, weapons and ammo, range fees, targets etc etc..
What’s not included: Everything else.
How much: Assuming 12 then tops $490.00 a head which is way cheap for a limited number course with Chuck.
The course WILL need 12 to run, otherwise costs will go up as the remainder would need to split the difference
NOTES: I need to know within SEVEN DAYS (ten days TOPS) if we can get 12 together as Chuck will need to book additional time at Ben Avery – this range is in big demand and is used by DPS and other law agencies.
I need a consensus on either July or August (or September) for that matter.
The course will be OUTDOORS on the CQB range, no standing at firing points ala club style, this will be tactical style content.
If you are into tactical shooting, carry a firearm as part of your job, do airsoft or whatever this course WILL improve your skills and is a bundle of fun at the same time.
Never used a pistol: No worries, can probably arrange a wee intro at a local range.
How long do I need to be there: Your choice, Scottsdale Gun Club, Tombstone and Pima Air Museum are all worth a visit. Vegas is only a short drive or flight away too…
Payment: IN ADVANCE.
Flights go daily from Heathrow to Phoenix Skyharbour, I usually use British Airways but you MUST book early to get best prices...and sometimes a longer stay can be had for the same ticket price.
Hotels: Tell you where I stay later, there is a decent hotel 10 minute drive from the range.
So here's your chance folks, it IS a great experience for sure.
