The car's packed (on its' bumpstops). 6 hour drive ahead - nice and steady.
Hoping to sell some, if not all my stock.
Not least to meet old friends and make new ones.
If you are going, stop by and say hello to Adam and myself. Mrs Adam may or may not be there, I don't know.
In the words of Canned Heat, I'm on the road again.

Re: Trafalgar Meeting - On my way
I had a good weekend spoilt only by Saturday morning's hangover.
Good trade and met a few forum members but missed Ovenpaa and Cristel.
Dromia seemed to be doing a bit of business as well.
All in all it was a worthwhile exercise.
See you at the Phoenix, I hope.

Re: Trafalgar Meeting - On my way
Not a bad weekend all in all considering how quiete it was especially on the Sunday. Reports from the firing points were that they were quiet empty at times. Shame as the Trafalgar was my favourite meet when I shot competitively. Seems that the cost of fuel combined with other pressures on peoples budgets are keeping people at home. Maybe now is the the time for a more northerly Historic arms meet to be held to make the travelling easier for people beyond the Bisley catchment.
People were buying rifles but keeping most of the expenditure below the £500 mark
A few Full-Bore UK members came along to say hello. Dougan and his dad who brought tea, 1066 and his interesting projects, rox who sold me a rifle and another member whose screen name I didn't get. Apologies if I've missed someone.
