If the NRA were to run a PSG match, level two (fairly simple) how many would be likely to attend?

Even if you wouldn't normally post, I would be grateful for a response so that I can use the figures in an attempt to move forward.

I would be very interested in the NRA running such a comp.

Would competitors have to be members of the UKPSA or have a UKPSA competition licence to enter/compete?

PSG, run by the NRA! Just spat my tea all over the keyboard

Too far for me but great idea and good luck!

Hope one's cravat doesn't get caught in the Purdey, can one use a Purdey? Can one use two? Can one bring their loader?
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

DM, still walking very slowly at the moment, just want to guage the reponse so that I could produce a 'business plan' with a projected financial bottom line.

I'm not wishing to undo or conflict with some other worthy individuals work done so far, nor would I wish to undermine it.

This is a purely selfish initiative.

It may even have to be a level one to avoid the need for a UKPSA competition license.

You know my limited experience with PSG; it's just that I see all this empty range space in the winter and keep saying to myself "If only......."

Calendar permitting I would. That assumes I could do so without being a member of the UKPSA. I paid my money and did their safety course but I could see no value to me in being a member.

I imagine I could find a few others who would be up for it too. A number of times I've heard people say how much better it would be if we could shoot PSG at Bisley instead of having to go all the way down to Shield.

Have you considered doing something with the guys from FourIslands(http://four4islands.org/)? Their shoots have been popular because they're more about the fun and less about serious competition. As their shoots are not UKPSA shoots they have far more flexibility in terms of what they can do. The shopping trolley level own at Shield at their 2 gun match in September was certainly something new!

Fun is the name of the game.

I shot a charity match at Harlow a few weeks ago which was by intention not a UKPSA match and aimed at level one standard.

Getting lead in the air and smiles on faces (mine in particular) is my primary intention.

If I can show possible profit at the end then that is so much more ammunition in the locker (pun intended - sort of!)

John,

As far as i'm aware competitors must have a competition licence for anything above a Level 1 match so i think it would have to be set at that level. This then throws up the problem that many people are not willing to travel far for a Lv1 match :cool2: And i'd have to include myself in that category

If however you could get something like a 3 gun match organised, you might have more takers :-P :good:

Either way i sincerely wish you the best of luck with it :) but like Mike i don't hold out much hope :squirrel:
