How can Triathlon provide a ‘high quality spectator experience’ - you can’t put a grandstand in the middle of the lake the competitors are swimming across!

I find that so disappointing. Squash, Tennis, Badminton and table tennis - four similar racket sports? Shooting must be one of the most inclusive sports there is. - You just need a couple of the wokerati on the committee to have lasting consequences.

So, looking at the list of sports, it is Bowls, Judo, Sailing and Shooting that are the four omitted sports. It will be the first time in the history of the games that shooting has not been included. They say they want more female competitors so shooting is probably too male orientated for them. Perhaps the committee would prefer to watch female Beach Volleyball rather than shooting.

Peter.

Watching someone else shooting is a bit like watching paint dry, but doing it yourself?
NOW you're talking !! shakeshout

There's no excuse to to cut it from an international event though, particularly where volleyball is included.

All target shooting photos look the same. Usually a row of arses with the occasional builders crease in evidence.
