Does anyone make the PID's ( temp controller) for Lee melting pot here in the the UK?
I need one as some times I'm overheating my lead for casting and need alot more control as the pot starts to lower capacity.
Thank you

Re: Wanted:PID device for a Lee 4-10 melting pot
I made my own, plenty of instructions available online and the parts are easily obtainable at lest they were when I did it 15 years ago.
It isn't at all difficult as evidenced by the fact that I managed it.

Re: Wanted:PID device for a Lee 4-10 melting pot
Just a thought but it might be an option to look at a larger pot.
My 40 lb dipping pot has built in PID but it rarely kicks in, I usually cast about 1/2 the pot at a time around 20 lbs and the temperature stays pretty much spot on start going below that and the PID starts working more.
