Hello
I usually use A5744 or Lovex D060 in my obsoletes and 45/70 but I am having no luck at all in sourcing any suppliers with stock, even paying extra for hazmat carriers, It seems to be as rare a rocking horse "M" anybody out there with alternative powders that would be suitable large calibre reduced loadings.
I have been trying to find H4198 but supply of that is just as bad.

Don't know where you are located Mauserbill but the UK importer for Lovex is based in Mythemroyd West Yorkshire.

Re: Reloading powders
Have you looked at ReloadSwiss RS14 (Found RS powder easier to get)? I have migrated a lot of my loads to it. I don't shoot 45/70 but friend has used RS14 in is 45/70 with very good results.
