Hi everyone,
My name is Paul Mercer and I shoot LSR competitions in my club at Tavistock as well as 'away' shoots at other clubs.
Mt present rifles are both customised Ruger 10/22's, one with a Volquartsen 12/1/2" barrel which is capable of more accuracy that I can usually manage!
Looking forward to talking to fellow .22 rimfire shooters

Hi Christel,
Thanks for the post, in addition to the normal target shoot I also tried the 'Steel Challenge' a few times, it's great fun and there are some seriously good shooters that take part, I do it just for the fun of competing, the only slight drawback is the enormous expenditure of ammunition, but it's only on in Devon a couple of times a year so it's worth it for a day out and doing something different.
All the best,
Paul

Hi Paul and welcome - I also shoot a bit of rimfire among other things - Current .22lr are Buckmark carbine, Sako Finnfire P94s with Lilja barrel and Anschutz Match 54.

Hello and welcome
If you like LSR and speed steels you might want to take a look at the Action Weekends at Bisley. Run several times a year and there are many different comps to try.

Hi Paul and welcome.
Another newbie here and also looking forward to getting into .22LR.
Just got to pack, move house and unpack. Then should be able to visit the new shooting club in about 6 weeks hopefully - fingers crossed.
(haven't done any shooting in 30 yrs + and only a little at that)
Cheers.
