You can give him a 3-in-1 card for your renewal, Happy Birthday, Christmas and New Year :good:

Hello
Still waiting for mine, but in the meantime i was watching Youtube regarding FEO visits, they seem to be in a lot more in depth that previously.
Make sure you offer him/her a hot cup of tea and some biscuits' .

I hear on the grapevine that the Licensing Department has taken a severe dressing down from above and are speeding up their activity.
We shall wait and see!

Are you still waiting for the FAC to arrive?

I guess you got it by now, was the start date back dated to allow continuous FAC coverage or did it start at a later date to allow you 5 years of full use, buying ammo etc?
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

Last person I know who spoke with Durham FLD (a fortnight ago) was told there is currently ONE FEO doing all the inspections and leg work due to illness and people moving on from the department :run:

It's a complete mess.

I sent the club FAC in for a simple 1 for 1 variation, got it back in about a week!, unfortunately what they'd actually sent was a second copy of my personal FAC with stuff missing, still on when sold and a slot for a 223 mod I didn't ask for.

This has taken about a month to get sorted out, got the club FAC back last Friday, hopefully my own will be here this week.

Nobody answers the phone (9-11 only) it even says they won't on the website!. No reply to original emails asking what was going on.

Finally got a reply from my last email specifically asking them to reply.

The reply I got was from a "decision maker", worryingly she added the following to her reply "Please note my working days are Monday and Tuesday. "

One of my club members who's FAC is in for renewal had the automatic 8 week extension, then was told he has a section 7 for the foreseeable future.
When he asked how long that would be he was told months not weeks as they have such a massive backlog.
