I don,t really know to be honest I switched calibers and its not seating the primers deep enough. I am wondering if its slop in the Shell holder. I am using a Lee shell holder. I have ordered some RCBS shell holders and new primer holder and seating stems.
I will have another look at it its probably just some thing simple. Or may be its the Murex primers I am using. First job is to check the primer pockets. I am sure I will get to the bottom of it eventually.

Re: RCBS Bench top Auto Priming Tool
I had another go to day I think its the Muron primers the leaver doesn't go all the way down no matter how much I lean on it. Tried them in a hand primer and they seated OK. I will try the bench priming tool again with a different make of primer if I can get hold of any. I stocked up on Muron cos I got them cheap. Typical.

I found a box of Federal so I had another go they seated fine no issues.
