Re: More snouts in the trough............
In this particular case boris the bastard is giving no-one politicians or population nothing to come around and support, he has no plan, no vision and no substance to deliver his incompetence is so great that the only thing you can do is criticise as there is nothing there of virtue or substance. This isn't about party politics this about inadequate individuals in government needing to be tackled about their uselessness. Why on earth anyone should expect people to support such pathetic failure is beyond me.
It is the tory sycophants on here that is making it party political, god forbid but Starmer challenging boris's arrogant incompetence is all we have left, even the tory back benchers are getting uneasy at his continued abject failure.
Bleat on all you want about the loyal opposition but that is only a futile attempt at diverting the argument from its subject, this governments continued failure to in anyway successfully manage this pandemic.
Boris needs a clear out and get some competent people onto the cabinet, however boris's ego won't let him as that will throw is multiple inadequacies into sharper relief than they are already and it is the old and the vulnerable that re dying as a consequence. We are certainly not a civilised country or at the very best we don't have a civilised government.
It is boris's party politics in playing to the gallery that is the problem not people criticising that which should be rightfully criticised.

What makes my gums bleed is the overt suggestion by these cretins that "old" and "vulnerable" are somehow synonymous............

I see now that the WHO has made an interesting U-turn, and are now asking countries not to use lockdowns as their main action against COVID19. Could it be that they now realize that the damage to the economy is going to be massive?

And in my current state fighting a bad cold, I don't get anything very subtle. I sort of at the "fire bad" "tree pretty" stage of intellectual understanding at present.
