DK 2011
Well that is customs cleared, as much as the cheery wave through was nice it seemed best to tell them we had firearms in the car. At least this time we got to keep the ammunition in the car along with the bolts :goodjob:
Re: DK 2011
oooh Gun + Bolts + Ammo
Should be known as "MBA" = Missing Bolt & Ammo
Reminds me of a wasted 400Km round trip I did 4 years ago!!
Only myself to blame as well - there it was all neatly packed at the door where I left it so as not to forget it!
:cool2:

Usually they want to take the ammo but the sight of a huge case put them off this time. I never let them have the bolts regardless of what they say

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

At the range now and it is blowing a gale with showers. I have already found something rather interesting in the SoDMR stakes and will post some pictures up very shortly as I need some help with it.
DK is it's nor,al pleasant place and right now we are surrounded by a lot of people in camouflaged uniforms with C7A1/C8A1 type things s cowling at each other.
What fun eh?

Re: DK 2011
It was quite blowy on the ferry this morning, I struggled to stand up at one point and that was without alcohol to blame as well!
The Viking seemed unperturbed by it all.

Re: DK 2011
Lots of wind on the sea crossing over, luckily we had the wind in our backs.
Ferry was quiet, not a lot of people.
I as per usual spent some time in the shop, marvelling at the extortionate prices. Bought some sweets, they did not really have the liquorice I wanted and I felt cheated.
Ah well, must find a supermarket :)
All good here, we have a room at the range we are shooting at tomorrow and Friday. Then the weekend is spent with the family and friends and then back here Sunday afternoon. Monday-Friday shooting, all being well. Home Saturday.
