We fly a mixed team of Falcons, Hawks and Eagles at Game.

That is what it is all about "the pursuit of wild quarry in its natural habitat(Not the shop!) with a trained bird of prey.

We use the falcons on Grouse, Pheasant, Partridge and ducks (plus the odd various )

The hawks, they take anything that moves from frogs to hares.

The eagle - well although he is a scavenger primarily, he has become quite adept at rabbits over the ferrets and the odd hare, although my Red Tail is a hare specialist!

Who did HH manage to get into the undergrowth and how did you get the pheasant out of the water?

Some stunning looking birds and nice to see they are being worked as well. I was wondering about the HH getting out of that spot as well.

The pond was frozen - it was an interesting "recovery" and I didnt get wet!! - it was not my bird either, it was the Mrs' but she decided she was going to hold mine whilst I recovered her bird and the pheasant. Getting them back to dry land was easy once I got out there - I slid the pheasant across the ice and the Hawk followed it!

No! they are very simple creatures - they just need to be kept at the right flying weight and they need to be flown every day, regardless of what else you are doing, they need flying. They are not not garden ornaments and if you don't have the time to fly them everyday then you should get a goldfish - sorry rant over

Fantastic pictures of your wife. Especially the one with the wings spread, and the last one where she has a fantastic smile.

Outside shooting, I am a photographer. Getting a picture of a person that captures who they are is difficult, and these two pictures are superb.

The other pictures of the birds are also majestic. I love her holding the bird while caressing the dog's chin. Regrettably, she wasn't looking at the camera. or this could have been an award winning shot. Well done.
