Is there some olde law, maybe from WW1 or WW2, that criminalises profiteering ? Have' em all hauled out of the trough and put to good and useful work ? Some of the stones down at Portland Bill look a tad big to us and in dire need of smashing down to size. A fitting task for MPs?

Stripey fecker, I recently had this conversation with my mother who is 90, I did ask if profiteers were shot during the war, she laughed and replied unfortunately not...

Signed - And I see the Lords still want their £305 a day to sign in virtually from home. The system certainly needs a shake up somewhere. UK companies are sending PPE equipment abroad because red tape is stopping them selling to NHS and all the rush to get the Dyson/McLaren/Mercedes ventilators into service has hit a dead stop with none in use, again because of red tape.

We have a Lord who did a prince Charles. First sign of lockdown, he moved up to his holiday home in the village.

Do you get paid when you work from home? I am sure your boss would approve of you giving up your income when you do.

I have an acquaintance who happens to be an active member of the House of Lords - that is his salary. So, maybe they should furlough them selves and woudl still be paid £2500/month compared to an average £3500 when working.
