I do the same in case they have anything else that takes my fancy that I do need my FAC for.......Lancs Lad wrote:I also have no issue with showing my FAC for the purchase of powder. In fact, if I know that I'll be visiting a gun shop in the first place then I will always carry my ticket with me quite simply because all RFD's are different in that respect.Alpha1 wrote:I think most Registered Firearms dealers do this now especially if you are not known to them. I get my powders from two sources I have dealt with them for years they don't all ways ask for my certificate. It's not a legal requirement more a cautionary measure. I don't have a problem showing my certificate when buying powder or primers.

Re: Showing fac for powder?
I have never been asked for my FAC when buying powder, but some RFDs have asked for my name and address.
Re: Showing fac for powder?
hi a friend of mine is a RFD and they are now being required to make notes of powder purchases, i recently went to a local shop as mine has closed down and specifically requested sight of certificate and wrote details down in a register. George Orwellmag41uk wrote:Is this a requirement in law now?
Re: Showing fac for powder?
RFD now has to record batch numbers of ammo sold. Too late getting out of the EU
