Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

I must admit, I thought it odd that he'd only sell to EU members, but maybe it was Lapua that was setting the conditions.

Any of you blokes who shop in Europe have a lead on LPA sights?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Thanks for the tip, I'll give Hunting-sport a go..........there's an advantage in being able to use a credit card rather than a bank transfer.

I've dealt with Hunting-Sport a few times over the years - usually collecting in person, but they've been excellent.

I tried to get a price for a 5 figure quantity from ballisticservice24 - apparently I must check-back at some point when they have updated their price list and work it out for myself - not that I can possibly know what the pallet shipping will cost.

I tried to place an order for 2000 Scenars online with Hunting-Sport, but could only get the "pick-up" shipping option. I emailed and had a reply asking for my FAC showing the calibres I'm holding, stating that I should choose the pick-up option, and that the shipping would be sorted later. I presume he means a scan of the FAC ammo section.

Does this sound about right?

That's right. I emailed copy of ammo allowance and address page.
Blanked out the FAC number.
Shipping was about 18 euro.
