Has anyone used Sellior and Bellot ammunition in the 6.5 Creedmoor if so what are your findings is it worth a punt? taking into account I am not likely to ever shoot past 600 yards and it's more likely to be 100, 200, or 300 yards.
There are very few opportunities to shoot at longer distances in my neck of the woods. Which prompts me to wonder why I have invested in a 6.5 Creedmoor.

Just load your own, I make some very nice ammo for the Creedmoor at around £51/100.
Starline SRP Case (at least 10 firings) - 7p
Murom KVB223M Primer - 3p
36gr Viht N150 - 16p
Nosler 140gr CC or Lapua 139gr Scenar bullet - 27p
im going to go that way eventually (when i get the time ) but at 77p a round (taking of the case price) it seems a resonable trade of for saving time ..
how does your load shoot out to 1000 ? and what gun barel do you use ?
Used it in both a Ruger RPR and now a Tikka TAC-A1, both 24" barrels.
Not done any group testing above 300yds as no ranges available at the moment (all my clubs remaining bookings are a max of 300yds) but it knocks down ETR's at 1000yds plus shot after shot.
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)

Were are you getting the scenars and Noslers for 27p.
I spent yesterday morning at 100 yards zeroing using the sellior and bellot offerings and some 125g Winchester offerings. I then shot for a group using handloads 139g scenar with 35.5 g Vit N150. I had a problem getting a stable platform I think I need a new bipod. But all in all its definatelly got potential. A lot les recoil than my .308.
I have spent an hour in the shed to day drilling and tapping cases for my shooting shed cartridge over all
length gauge so I can start some serious hand loading ready for my next outing.
