I surprised there's not a click on (affordable) rifle barrel for the Greener GP shotgun. I know the "take down" action is not the strongest but they do have a bit of character and could be fun in a 45/70 type round.

Why a modern version ? sorry I don't get it.
Why cannot a true reproduction of a Martini be made, full wood and bayonet lug in 45/70 I would open my wallet tomorrow.
Who can re-barrel an original to 45/70 without upsetting the purists.

I've looked into this a lot as I have a 303 martini with a cut barrel. Essentially any rimmed round would be ok to use, for a period I was quite attracted to .357 / .44 as being a carbine it would be easier on the shoulder and cheaper to feed. .22 hornet might have even been fun, however, I'm going to stick with 303 when I've saved up enough!
