Re: Newbie
We shot at ours and went to Bisley as well - but that was around 1980 in Merchant Taylors at Moor Park.
The school had an indoor 25yd .22 range and an outdoor one for .303 - as well as an armoury for the cadet corps.
Eventually got back into shooting too...

Yes Greshams was much the same with an indoor 22 range with an armoury for personal rifles and then the CCF armoury for cadet/service rifles and also a small area for shotguns for the clay and pigeon shooting we did.
No full bore range but they had and still have a lodge on Bisley Common that was regularly visited for weekends but pupils.
I spoke to the Merchant Taylors coach last week on the range and they seem to be going well with their shooting.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
