Lapua headstamp

#1 Post by Racalman »

I have two different headstamps in my collection of .308 brass. Do they designate different years of manufacture?

Well I would say the 308W was the earliest however I have never found definitive dating information. I have some that are stamped Lapua 7.62x51 and again, no idea of date.

NATO spec. Probably thicker brass and crimped primers.
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.
