Uberti 1885 low wall .357 mag

#1 Post by Jabberwocky413 »

I'm considering getting a Uberti 1885 low wall single shot in .357 mag, has anyone got or had one of these? I'd be interested in hearing your views both good and bad.

WInchester 1885s originally had flat springs, but, sometime in the 20th century, they changed to coils. I don't know which variant Uberti make. I have an original 1897 manufactured Low Wall which has been re-barrelled by Greener and is now in in .300 Rook. It seems to be a superb action design, but I have never shot mine---it sits on the gun room wall. I have other Rook rifles on ticket and never got round to shooting this one.
