Hi - I'm new here, and am Alexander Henry's great great grandson. I've been collaborating with gunmaking historian and author on "Alexander Henry, Rifle Maker", a biography of Henry. This is the most comprehensive account of his life, rifles and businesses.

Yes the subject is indeed of interest. Alex Henry being a firearms legend

However I have edited your post somewhat as it did come over as a for sale post which should be in for sale section for which you currently cannot access, I am not sure whether you have any other interest in the book other than as a family contributor.

The arsebook link has also been removed as you are required to sign up for access.

A cracking book, I got it as a christmas present from my family. I've only read the first chapter as yet and am well impressed.

In the six weeks since Alexander Henry Rifle Maker was made available to order, over half of the 750 copies have been sold !

This is quite extraordinary, and has proved to be Donald Dallas' fastest selling book.

I'm very pleased at how well the story of my great great grandfather's life and career has been received.

The most interest outside of the UK has been in the US and Australia, but also Canada, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Hungary, South Africa and New Zealand.
