New Walther lbp?

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

To which you gave the wrong answer. It is a drilled barrel with integral suppressor and therefore doesn’t require a seperate moderator slot.

Ok, I hope you’re right and if so I’ve learnt something new today.

My advice was simply to check if unsure.

Good news and that makes sense.

So the big question before I buy one, are they any good, anybody got one?

Seems to be a few places advertising them but no one has appeared with one yet...

I had a deposit on one since they announced them, but I pulled out in January.

The ones they wound up being sent by Walther had a 5" slide rather than the 4" one that the standard PPQ, and their demo model had. I didn't particularly like that longer slide although it would give a longer site base. I still reckon they would be a cracking option for the UK LBP market and it is nice to see a company like Oceana Defence taking UK ideas to mainstream markets. I just personally didn't like the end result :(

The longer slide appeals to me, that means only 7" of fake can sticking out the front.

You more of a Buckmark style man? Maybe the VQ or Ruger?

Well my variation has been approved so it’s one of these or a k22 x trim.

I’ve shot the k22 and liked it, plus my local shop has them in, tried and tested so I guess that’s the front runner.

For the sake of waiting another month I’d wait to find out, sounds like there is a few lbps on the go at the moment. IF any of them materialise it’s worth the wait I would have thought

Seems he has a Walther PPQ LBP ready for review. So someone has them!
