The Robinson XCR used a similar lever release action but they seem to have dropped off the face of the Earth.
Considering how small the UK market is, and how small this part of the UK market is, I think its more a case of no one else wanting to do it rather than a patent issue.
EDIT: Alive and kicking still apparently! http://www.lodockgear.co.uk/products-2/ ... le-system/

Good one mark,I remember someone saying bobs not the only UK maker but did not wanna put my money on it......so in sumation I would agree with your synopsis..
When someone says "it's not about the money" you know what? it probably is all about money!

I thought that there had been discussions that nothing would be 'grandfathered', happy to be corrected.Blackstuff wrote:If you think the prices have gone up now, just wait and see what happens if nothing comes of this consultation, or even worse, if this type of gun becomes 'grandfathered'!

Can't say about any price increase on the .223 version but I did a build exactly the same as the 9mm I bought about 18 months ago the price came out the same.

There have been discussions, but not by anyone who is a position to make any decisions.Geek wrote:I thought that there had been discussions that nothing would be 'grandfathered', happy to be corrected.Blackstuff wrote:If you think the prices have gone up now, just wait and see what happens if nothing comes of this consultation, or even worse, if this type of gun becomes 'grandfathered'!
