I just enrolled in a 1 week ST/OPS Tactical Training class in the Czech Rep from the 5yh March to the 9th, organised by NTTC .
I am NOT organising it & I am going as a student . There are 2 spaces left, so if anybody is interested to join along ?
" The objective of this training action is to be able to take care of one or more wounded in vital distress, by acting in hostile and conflictual environment - you will learn to :
- Acquire & master reflex in the face of a threat situation,
- Keep the injured alive and prevent aggravation of the wounds,
- Evaluate the environment and react to the threat, (ie : return fire and create an agressive defensive perimeter)
This training is complementary to a first aid training, ie : treating the injured and return fire .
It aims primarily at act on : junctional hemorrhages, blast wounds, polytrauma, haemorrhage Control and learn to react using the knowledge taught.
Every day, the training phases of rescue are interspersed with tactical scenarios with live fire.
A STOP, Rescue in a hostile and / or conflictual environment certificate will sanction the course for the students who succeeded in all the scenarios".
The course is run by 2 ex-SF who teach that very module/course to the French SAS before their deployment. The week is accessible to all & those who have never been trained in tactical assault rifle will have to an extra day (sunday) class to get up to the level. Be warned, it will be quite an intensive, stressful & physical course. It's a top realistic professional training. You will learn a lot !!
If you are interested feel free to contact me for further info.
