The C.G. Millennium action is being revived – long-range enthusiasts, rejoice!
It is with great pleasure that I may announce that an agreement has been reached with ORPEN WAPENS (PTY) Ltd. in South Africa (http://www.orpenwapens.co.za) to manufacture the well-known C.G. MILLENNIUM, previously manufactured in New Zealand, in an updated version, including a single shot and a repeater models.
Ossie Penzhorn, the founder of the company, was at the time the Millennium importer in South Africa and the rifles he built around the action have proven their superiority in the major long-range disciplines.
The growing company is now managed by Ossie’s grandsons, who have both apprenticed under him for many years, and his input remains a vital key to the success of their current and future endeavours.
Both single shot (better adapted to new disciplines) and repeater versions now accept all aftermarket Remington-type triggers, while the C.G Model 22 will be the OEM.
The repeater model will be based on the Remington footprint, with an integrated recoil lug. Box magazines, bottom metals and stocks intended for this model fit the Millennium perfectly.
Several other improvements were added to the original design.
For the fans of the C.G creations and evolutions you are reminded that the Millennium is the generation that followed the C.G.-RPA Quadlock, and the repeater is the evolution of the Quadlite.
Keep a lookout for further announcements with regards to the official product launches and other exciting advancements.

Re: C.G MILLENIUM
Great news!!
If only I could get model 22 triggers for my CG-RPA 2000, and my Swing Mk4...............I've been trying for 18 months now, without success.
Both HPS and the UK importer have drawn a blank, and Centra don't reply to emails.

Good to read Robert, I hope this venture goes well for you and Ossie and his team.

Great news - only yesterday I agreed the purchase of a Millennium. Very much looking forward to picking it up in the new year!
Having not seen it in the flesh yet I have just two questions....
Why is it a C.G. And not a R.G.C. And why did the quadlock have a action dovetail for sight mounting but the Millie go back to a side mounted sight block?

Wish you the best with your Millie. Let us know when you have it?
C.G is my registered logo since the first C.G action of 1984.
R.G.C are my initials.
As HHE were fans of the Aussie Central rearsight, they ignored the dovetail on the first run. This was re-established for subsequent runs on my insistance as it was a distinctive feature of the C.G design.
Sincerely yours
R.G.C

Very pleased to have picked up the Millennium. Looks in pretty good shape for its age. I'd be interested to know what a new 'complete build TR' like me this will cost in today's money in the U.K.
