It might be a piece of reloading equipment, a favourite powder, primer or bullet.Anything that makes reloading a pleasure I will start it off. I've tried lots of different presses over the years, but the one I go back to is the Lee Classic Cast press. Solid, reliable with positive stops at top and bottom of ram movement. It catches the spent primers and just has a great feel when using it.

The old style Lee round tray hand priming tool. Has a much better feel than the new square tray model.

If not for handloading I would not be able to shoot my Mosina without seriously damaging it. Normal Mosin Nagant's would take a .311" diameter bullet in the 7.62x54mmR cartridge, but the M24 Finnish Mosina I have takes a .308" diameter bullet. The Finn's referred to this calibre as the 7.62x53mmR to make it clear they were different. My Mosina thanks me for feeding her a fine Finish lapua/vihtavuori diet by producing excellent accuracy for a ~100 year old rifle, could not believe that it was repeatedly hitting the top half of a Fig11 target at 350-400m! If not for handloading, would such awesome accuracy be possible? It's stuff like this which reminds me how important reloading is to me.

For hunting ammunition: My RCBS Chargemaster 1500 combo.
For priming: The RCBS universal hand primer, as there's no changing shell holders & the only change neededcis the ram when going from large to small primers.
But most of all I love the way every worry & thought fades into the background whilst concentrating on reloading - the ultimate 'chill out'.

The Lee pro auto disk powder measure, so easy to use and so versatile. Combined with the fantastic Lee powder through expanding die, it makes single stage reloading a breeze.

Being able to restock my ammunition whenever I want and not having to worry about availability in gun shops. Oh and not getting funny looks for asking for 500rds of .223
