OK, not a rifle, but this seemed the most appropriate section to post in...
I thought the classic arms shooters here may be interested in seeing an original range case from c1900. Jasper Vale-Lane introduced his 'Wimbledon Shooting Case' in 1886. I've found reference to the 'Vale-Lane Shooting Case' still being offered as a prize in 1903.

Interesting that he was a Saddler by profession. I have never seen one like this, but will now know what to look out for! I wonder how much one would be charged for a new one these days? £200??

Long out of Patent so there is no reason why a good bespoke leather maker could make something similar. Would look rather nice to go along with something like a Martini Henry.
