Vit powder for 6.5 creedmoor

Good evening everyone, just wondered if anyone is using Vit powder in their 6.5 creedmoor and if so what are you using and what weight bullets, I'm thinking of trying N150 with 140gr bullets

Hi Elmer,

Whilst I don't reload Creedmore, I do load my own in 260 Rem. To date, I have only loaded 123 Scenars over N140. This works just fine and is more than capable of bowling over an 1100m ETR with boring regularity if I do my part.

I have plenty of H4350 stashed in readiness for 139's, but N150 should be viable.

Quickload is your friend.

BW,

Simon

Using N550 with 139 Scenars. All test loads were within .75 moa and best was around .3 moa using new lapua brass in a virgin barrel, so expect it to improve a bit once barrel is run in and i reload fired brass.
Loaded a set of rounds at best load for a club shoot following week and shot 50.7 at 300yds and 50.6 at 500yds on a blustery day so well happy.

Currently using CCI 400 but will be moving to 450 or BR4 once current stock has been used.

N150 or N160 would work nicely with the 140's and not being double based like the N5xx won't burn your barrel out as fast lol lol

I also use N140 with 100gr Lapua Scenars and have used Ramshot Hunter with the 140's as I got 4lb of it very cheap :)

How are you still waiting for your RPR? been in stock at most places for quite a while. Albeit at a stupidly inflated price now!.

£1750 and the only difference to the 1st gen is a slightly different fore-end, a slightly more rubbery grip and a thin metal bolt shroud, none of which make it shoot any better but a great excuse to add £400 to the original price.

I had my 1st gen up for sale at £1150 and not a single nibble, can't understand why people would pay £600 more for something that doesn't shoot any better!.

Precisely the reason I went with a Gen1 RPR, difference paid for a Moderator, Cases and bullets and still some change.

I just ordered one from Avalon guns where I always go and have been told it's a gen 2 but they are still waiting for them to arrive in stock, not actually bothered about looking good at the range as long as it does the job and it's new so I know exactly how many rounds go through the barrel and it's cleaned to my satisfaction no other reason cheers.
