You start off by quoting the short distances for which this rifle is intended. If the intended use is on a gallery Rifle range, many of the calibres you seem interested in are not suitable---too high a velocity and far too much muzzle energy. Look at www.stourportonsevernpistolnrifleclub.co.uk. Excellent short galley range, but 308. 223, 222, 22 Hornet and even 177 HMR cannot be used here with factory ammo.

why didnt you say this in your first reply,
anyway
one of the clubs i can't shoot any of those with factory rounds,
although it might be poss with down loaded rounds to meet the range limits,1750ftp,475lb i think of hand.
other club those cals and others are regular fired.
hope that clears things up.
your club in the link.does seem great.
ps yes i ed still like to have a 310 cadet too again thank you for the info you gave..
Re: next next rifle
Chris many clubs will not allow downloaded full bore rifles on their indoor ranges as they cannot check if the round / rounds are within range limits without chronographing them. Hold on a for a 310 Cadet. Put the word around a few dealers that you are looking for one and keep your eyes open. If you do decide to go for something else that requires a variation put in for a .310 as well.
