Now I have got powder sorted out for pick up at the phoenix next problem is which bullet. Was planning on sticking with with the 124 be FMJ same as the factory ammo I've used, however not sure of any being available which leaves plated or hard cast.,wallet says hard cast but a little search on the net suggests cast bullets can be a little problematic in the 9 mm.
Maybe get a load of plated one's and a box of cast to play with and see how they go.

Re: 9 mm bullets
9mm cast boolits are not a problem. Cast to fit your gun and lubed well and they work fine.
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.

Re: 9 mm bullets
We've sold 10's of thousands of the L.O.S 9mm plated bullets and they've been very good indeed. We're also waiting on a delivery of H&N Sport 9mm plated bullets, the next level up from L.O.S in terms of quality, they should also be with us at The Phoenix next week.mr smith wrote:Now I have got powder sorted out for pick up at the phoenix next problem is which bullet. Was planning on sticking with with the 124 be FMJ same as the factory ammo I've used, however not sure of any being available which leaves plated or hard cast.,wallet says hard cast but a little search on the net suggests cast bullets can be a little problematic in the 9 mm.

Re: 9 mm bullets
Pretty much what I read,a lot of people were finding commercial cast bullets a little small and found .357 bullet better.dodgyrog wrote:9mm cast boolits are not a problem. Cast to fit your gun and lubed well and they work fine.
