The annual 1200yd bash.......blowing a gale, so not too many V's, but a good time was had by all.

6.5x47 easily trumped the 308............

Bipod, telescopic sight, no such frippery and lady assistance allowed on our 1200 shoots. :D

The man is too humble, 1st of his sighters was a dead centre V bull. A rare score today given the conditions.

It looks like it was a fine day for it.

I have had some superb shooting with my 6,5x47 at 1200 yards although it is usually at the slightly more sheltered Barton Road.
