Copying the inlet of obsolete stock.

As I understand it, there is a machine where you can insert a blank rifle stock next to an inletted rifle stock and it will copy the inlet to the blank - in much the same way as they cut keys I imagine ?

Is there anybody in UK with such a machine ?

I have an rifle for which it is impossible get aftermarket sporting style stocks and was just looking at the feasibility of getting a modern stock inletted using the old stock as a template.

You could give Joe West a call on 07788 535 673 or email joewestriflestocks@gmail.com
Last time I was at his place he had an in-letting machine and a stock duplicating machine but that was a while ago.

Alternatively speak to Steve at Parmoor http://www.gun-stocks.co.uk/ I would certainly recommend him, his work is good and he is great to deal with, tell him I say hello :)
