I will looking at an 1889 S/Rubin on Sunday and I wonder if anyone can recommend a suitable powder for it with a 200g cast g/c bullet.
I had intended to use Rel 7 as it works well in my K31, amongst others.

Re: Schmidt Rubin Mod 1889
Velocity? Distance you want to shoot it at?
If Rel 7 works in the 7.5x55 for you then it should work in the 7.5x54 so long as you aren't doing GP11 pressures as the 1889 action isn't designed for the higher pressures.
My powders of choice for cast at 1600-1800 fps in this calibre, and many others, are Vihtavuori N110 & N120

I pretty much thought the same thing with Rel 7, I will be shooting anything from 100m out to 300m plus, depending which range I am on and aiming at around 1850fps.
I am aware that the original GP90 round had a service pressure of 38,400 psi against the GP11 at 45,000 so I won't be stoking them up to anything like GP11 performance!
I have also emailed RS for some load data, I had reason to ask them some time ago for load data for 7.7x58 Arisaka as they don't list it and they sent me a quick load readout within 24 hours, brilliant service from them.
