Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Those fine firearms are being made visually heinous, totally lacking in any taste, finesse or sensitivity whatsoever.

However they do make the Mas 36 look slightly more comely.

The French MAS 36 was the last bolt action rifle developed for military use. As such it adopted what the French saw as the best elements of contemporary battle rifle designs prior the second world war. Rear locking bolt lugs for fast action, turned down bolt handle so as not to weaken the receiver, peep rear sights and a five round box magazine...These rifles saw extensive use in Frances colonial wars post WW2 in Indo China, Algeria and Suez.

All of that for a mere £ 325

As I have said often enough I have a lot of respect for the MAS and think it a fine rifle and a fine cartridge but it is still one of fecking ugliest guns ever made.
