I have seen those going for high prices - guys buying them and using the fabric to make repro smocks in correct fabric !!

I was at G range Sennybridge and it was warmer than that!
In fact it was a great day - virtually no wind and blue skies.

The times I've shot G Range the weathers been good......F Range always seems to be a different matter, at least for most of the day!.

Making Denison smocks to pass off as originals was a common to do with these, as was using the material for back-repairing all the slashed/cut smocks released by MOD back in the 60's/70's era, although its not exactly the same material as a Denison smock, just same camo pattern.

Plenty of decent repro smocks available from suppliers to not have to do this nowadays, but it does mean that these bags are now quite rare.
I paid about 25 quid for mine 20 odd years ago, and they were hard to sell at much more than that, even 10 years ago.
Given it's possible usefulness still for shooting, it's one of the few items among my big collection of WW2 'stuff' that I won't be selling in the near future.
