I've just looked at this thred...Christel..I can't believe you've been stiring it up

I only came back to the thred (from yesterday) to say - Well shot the Jocks

I looked up MR - I thought MR was 'military rifle' (i.e. no.4 etc.) . So it's 'Match rifle' ...the 'long distance laying down thing' :P . I also looked up the Elcho shield... ...that's an impressive trophy.

Dromia: I also now understand you're reference to 'Lord Elcho' (sorry, I hadn't heard of him). I checked out your shop - some lovely things 8-) (I'm courious about the 'non-FAC' rifles - but it could make a good 'separate thread'...)

btw: Don't listen to Christel - she said "I should listen to you, because you've been a marksman since the Boar War"......

Thanks for the kind words about my website Dougan.

Check back in a few days as I have new stock to go on it, I'll be setting up today to start taking the photographs.

It was actually the Bore War Christel, I have been known to go on a bit when it comes to guns and shooting. :ugeek:
