Another option could be:

* In 308 obviously.
Heard good things and is the rifle I am looking at getting for my first.

Mosberg MVP LC
http://www.mossberg.com/product/mvp-lc-rifle-27775/
About £1100, so plenty left for a decent scope.

Had ammo on order for about a year from the importer.

Re: Ruger precision rifle
Just buy some decent 22-250 cases, run a 6.5 neck expander or a Creedmoor FLS die through them, load and fire them off, result is fire formed 6.5C brass, around .025" shorter than factory but a damn sight cheaper and work perfectly well :)
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)

Re: Ruger precision rifle
When I purchased my AI AT, there is a recommended break-in procedure in the hand book: but eh, what would AI know about their own products!safetyfirst wrote:https://youtu.be/f_LvPjreNjg

Re: Ruger precision rifle
Border used to suggest shoot one, foam for 24 hours, clean and repeat, something that always made me smile when my nearest range was 35 miles away with only monthly access and Bisley anything from 2 and 7 hours dependant on traffic.
Re: Ruger precision rifle
I saw one in 6.5 at the gun shop today complete with scope and mod. I must say it looked very bad ass!

Re: Ruger precision rifle
This is mine (6.5CM), next to its 'safe' companion, I like my AI; but I also like the Ruger PR. It does however need a muzzle brake, the recoil is more then expected.aris wrote:I saw one in 6.5 at the gun shop today complete with scope and mod. I must say it looked very bad ass!
