303 170gn bullet heads

303 170gn bullet heads
Hi , my local gunshop has 170gn bullet heads 303 and no one wants them as they cant find a load for them , anyone one here have a load for them also its varget powder I have , thanks.

Hi if you are referring to 170gr bullets
I would try between 39-42 gr of varget same as a 174

Are they boat tail or flat base bullets. If they are boat tail they are probably the same ones some of my buddies tried in there .303 rifles. They were not very impressed with how they performed.

I find they work well in my PU sniper, No.4 Enfield and Type 99 Arisaka.
I don't use Varget so can't help you there.

Wow you have the same 3 rifles as me and also using the same bullet !
