We are collectors as well, I was given one of these "things" for Christmas. It is yet to make it up on the "wall".

I think that a lot of these "safety" bans actually reflects on the inner fears of the legislators rather than the actual risk to society that the banned item has.

What is the point of having power if you can't abuse it to help you sleep better at night regardless of the negative impact it may have on others.

if there is a zombie apocalypse will it be ok to use a kitchen knife ?

Does that mean that when I was at school I was carrying the equivalent to a full auto around with me....my slide rule !! yes folks, in the age of steam.
Oh and I will say it again....oddly shaped futuristic zombie slashing knives don't kill people, dangerous minorities kill people...how many times do you have to say that????

Just don't write the word 'zombie' on the side as that transforms it into a WMD high-capacity assault knive that has magazine clips that fire 30 at a time and has a bit that goes up!

I have 2 machetes in the house, how are they less dangerous than those modern art pieces ??
