Sadly I have to confess that I did buy a de-act No.5 about 20 years ago. When I sold all my de-acts, I kept the No.5, just in case it I needed it to give up any unique No.5 parts for a live firer as and when I found one. And the nice live one I found happened to have a 'S' short butt fitted, and my de-act had a rare 'L' long butt, and a better condition butt pad, so I've been able fit the live one with a desirable long butt now.....

If anyone of small stature that owns a No.5 that wants a rare 'S' short butt and wants to swap with whatever they have - feel free to make contact
