Ammunition imports

JDR imports reloading goods to order and has a special interest in historical carbines and all forms of S1 pistols and revolvers.

We also supply everything to do with wet tumbling, with machines ranging from the Rebel 17 to the large, industrial-sized CRC units.

That would be a lot of investment/hassle unless you can source a regular, consistent source of 5.45......last thing you'd want is to be stuck with a rifle with very little ammunition availability in the UK as it is.

.30-06 mil-surp. Hate to say it, but the F..., the F..., the F..., the French stuff I used to get was quite good

7.62 x 53 FMJ mil-surp - almost the same as x54, but Finnish green55
Need more than one source of this, as the present UK supplier of the Russky mil-surp, is nuttier that squirrel poo & employs village idiots

7.92 x 57 FMJ - My G98 was not keen on the ex-MG fodder, but shot like a dream with that awful PPU junk. Need a normal 7.92 round.

6.5x55 mil-surp FMJ. Norwegian is good, as is Swedish....Don't need tracer though, got LOTS :p

6.8SPC FMJ - S&B do some nice 6.8, nobody brings it into the UK though!

FRAG 12's (well, you DID say S.5 too) - lol
