Tier One are worth having a look at for rings or unimounts.

They would certainly go well as I have the matching bipod.

A second question which I hope someone will answer is what height, I had been thinking of getting medium but reading a couple of posts in another forum suggests high so now I'm confused.

Sit the scope on the rifle and measure the distance between the mounting rail (or bases) and the bottom of the scope tube, add a couple of mm for clearance and look at the ring makers site for the dimensions.

All 3 of mine have cheap UTG/Leapers Twist Lock rings, they are faultless so far with large scopes (Sightron SIII 8-32x56 and 10-40x60), never budged at all and get excellent reviews in the US.

You can find their info chart here, http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/ut ... ounts.html
