Scoping an SMLE

Anyone know of a no-gunsmithing scope base for the SMLE?

I'm in the same boat. (Who let you in? Was it Doug? I bet it was Doug).

Personally I'm thinking of trying one of these... it says it's for a No1. I'm going to do a bit of research.

Nice find, Tower. These are the same mounts seen in the link in TattooedGun's post.

As in the other thread, just be aware that the charger bridge is riveted onto the No1 action, and is quite often crooked. The S&K mounts sometimes do not lock into the charger slot without some shimming/bodging to prevent the rail tilting to one side or the other, or pointing left/right.

They made 4+ million SMLEs, but they're all individuals...
