yes it is mi'ol mucker. Just got back from 2 days work. Locked down no communication with the outside world!
But my Bradley still outshoots a lot of more appropriate rifles, unsupported, at 600

my intent was not to open old wounds but to ask a rather dumb question!dromia wrote:So who on here isn't supporting pretendy AR shooters and their guns?
As I've stated already in this thread the guns themselves have never been an issue on the forum only the aggression of some pretendy AR owners and makers, they cause the problems here not the guns.
That is why there is pretendy AR Alerts on topics like these so as to try and head off the AR owner conflict that seems to always follow these threads.
Re: AR Platform
Well will be off to see mr Bradley to see what's on offer next week all being well!
Re: AR Platform
Thanks, will add Roger to the list. Spoke with Lantac a while go and the chap did say that they have something new coming out in March 2016 (yet the date is correct!).dromia wrote:I was down visiting Roger today and had a look at his pretendy ARs and can attest to the high quality of his work. In the meantime, your choice has gone from the old guard of SGC Bradley Arms and Lanner Tactical and there are probably 20+ models out there now and that's just in .223. Plus there are new things due from Lantac, (my personal favourite) and I've heard good things about the Low Mill Ranges AR builds, especially if you're willing to change calibre.
I saw tiny little gun shops at the shooting show exhibiting straight pull builds I've never seen before, schmeisser, double star, Adams arms, patriot ordnance, noveske, all sorts.
There is also South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies, Rimfiremagic, making a rifle with a proper billet side charging upper.

Re: AR Platform
My guess is Lantac will bring in their US manufactured AR with a straight pull conversion. The rifles are on the Lantac US site and looking at the prices will be quite costly. Time wise is anybody's guess.
Very pleased with my Bradley Arms.

Re: AR Platform
Wouldn't mind your guys thoughts on configurations. As a starter, was thinking of a 18 inch barrel.
Re: AR Platform
Will have the new USC upper, purpose built bolt carrier and 18 inch barrel. I have an earlier Raven TCR and had hands on the new prototype, the action on my Raven is very slick, the new side charging Raven will be even more so.Zilberbak wrote:My guess is Lantac will bring in their US manufactured AR with a straight pull conversion. The planned spec list is exceptional:
Full billet USC upper and Lantac USA lower.
SPADA freefloat rail.
.223 Wylde 18" barrel.
Lantac ECT 2 stage trigger.
Lantac Dragon muzzle brake.
Magpul stock and grip.
Options will be available.

18" all the way, although saying that I've decided to try a 16" barrel for my next one.godfather wrote:Wouldn't mind your guys thoughts on configurations. As a starter, was thinking of a 18 inch barrel.
