Laminate stocks for Remington 308 - recommendations

#1 Post by jmc67 »

Thinking of swapping my plastic stock on my Remington 700 308 for a laminate one. There seem to be a few to choose from, such as GRS and KKC which popped up with a quick search. Looking for something with adjustable length of pull and comb height. I do target shooting, but nothing competitive, so I'm not thinking about any 'Class' restrictions for the stock. Does anyone have any experience with these (or others) and if so pro's and con's of them please?

I have fitted GRS stocks to actions in the past and they are superbly inletted and virtually ready to go, yes you can bed them if you wish however they are good out of the box.
