I have two AJP target sights, the old one has 8 clicks per revolution of the elevation screw which seems to match up with the number of clicks required to range using the cardboard Parker computer, (4 clicks per minute?). The new one will not fit into the older sights sight holder as it is ever so slightly broader.
My new one has 10 clicks per revolution which would appear to be 5 clicks per minute?
The older one has a slightly sturdier body, both have matching numbers on the body and windage trunion but no other markings than the usual AJP logo.
What have I got? Is there a 5 clicks to the minute computer?
AJP Sights.

Unlikely to be 5 clicks per minute. I've encountered 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 click sights, but never 5.Egg on Leggs1 wrote:My new one has 10 clicks per revolution which would appear to be 5 clicks per minute? What have I got? Is there a 5 clicks to the minute computer?
Most likely just a different thread. It's simple to work out if you can measure the thread TPI (or you could use the spreadsheet I posted here back in 2014).
Enter the thread TPI, Clicks per revolution, and enter '1' for clicks per minute. The figures at the bottom will then tell you the percentage of a minute per click.
For example, Trakkers have a a 40 tpi thread and 10 clicks per revolution, which is 1/4 MOA per click for a 36" sight radius.
